About Me

The Full Story

I am a scientist by training. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science minors in English and Microbiology. In the latter half of my undergraduate degree, I fell in love with the world of writing. I always had an inkling, as I like to call it, for writing; however, I didn't know how to support that. I never knew that a career in this field was possible. After researching a science writing career, I was determined that I would become a science writer.

Being a science writer means connecting my love for science with writing. I love talking about science and communicating all the new scientific discoveries. Science is very cool and all around us. As a science writer, I hope to play a small part in bridging the gap between science and the public, one article at a time.
